KLASS Courses

The following are the courses that we are offering at KLASS this year.

Science - Our science classes will consist of hands-on, inquiry-based science where students will explore physical science concepts. Students will be exposed to scientific vocabulary, lab equipment, and process skills while conducting experiments, designing scientific labs, and using the scientific method.

Physical Education - Each week we will offer Different Skill based Activities, which include Dodgeball, Kickball, Tennis, Flag Football, Soccer, Capture the Flag, Basketball, Wiffleball, etc. We will also periodically do Fitness Assessments which includes Mile Run (Timed), Push-up Test, Sit-up test, Block Relay. etc. for each Class.

Art - Psalm 139:13-14 - For YOU created my inmost being...I praise YOU because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; YOUR works are wonderful, I know that full well. - In this session of Art, you will learn how unique your talents are within the realm of drawing and painting. You will be exposed to a number of artists who were considered "Masters" in their time. The theme for this session is "Vessel" - I believe you are a container of unique and extraordinary art that can only be created by GOD and you.

Preschool -

Cut off age: Our new enrollees will need to be 3 (potty trained), 4 or 5 years of age by the new cutoff date of August 31^st.

· Circle time (Letters, Numbers, Colors, Shapes, Nursery Rhymes)

· Clean up

· End- of- School Year Celebration

Snack program: It is important that your child brings a snack for snack time. Ex: crackers, juice, cookies, water, etc. No glass bottles please.
