FIELD DAY - Our Field Day Coordinator assembles a team of helpers. Together the committee gathers the needed supplies, makes schedules, and coordinates the activities for the ANNUAL LCHE FIELD DAY. | |

FIELD TRIPS - The LCHE members volunteer for to take a month. The member is responsible for their month. The member gathers the information about that month's Field Trip. They are responsible for the sign up and reminders for their trip. Most of the Field Trips planned are little to no cost. There are a host of enjoyable, and educational, activities/places for our children to enjoy. | |

**TESTING - Our Testing Coordinator has been doing this for several years. Our coordinator makes the arrangements for our group testing. It is the coordinators responsibility to find the place for group testing, gather volunteers to help with the testing, order the test, and send the test back to the testing company. Our coordinator does a great job with this responsibility. | |

PARK DAYS - Our Park Day Coordinator strives to keep things simple, and mostly fee. Our park days are designed to give the parents, a time and place to connect, chat, trade books, information, and socialization. While the parents are enjoying their "Adult Time," our children get the opportunity to do the same with fellow peers. | |

MEMBERSHIP - Our Membership Coordinator keeps the membership role up-to-date. They also make sure all members have access to the LCHE e-mail loop. | |

HOSPITALITY - Our Hospitality Coordinator coordinates refreshments at the LCHE events and sends acknowledgement cards for life events within LCHE. | |

MOM'S NIGHT OUT - This year, our Mom's Night Out will work just as our Field Trip Committee is working. The LCHE members volunteer for to take a month. The member is responsible for their month. The member will email the moms in regards to the month that they have chosen. It is the responsibility of the hostess to plan the menu/activities for the evening. | |
DIRECTORY - The Directory Committee works to provide the members of LCHE with a directory of LCHE Family Members with various photographs of the LCHE members and activities, along with updated contact information.

CURRICULUM - Our Curriculum Coordinator is available to to help anyone with questions that they may have about choosing, or evaluating, home school curricula. If the coordinator is unfamiliar with a particular curriculum in which someone is interested in, they will do their best to direct that person to someone who might be able to help. Toward the end of the school year, the coordinator will coordinate a curriculum fair, in which LCHE members can buy, sell, swap, and share information about different curricula. | |

KLASS - KLASS is set up to enrich the home school experience by offering Christian-based educational classes as consistent positive social contact for our children of all ages, from toddlers to senoirs. It is not a co-op, as in other groups, as the parents can leave their children from week-to-week. Our coordinator likes to keep KLASS fresh and inviting. We have grown from twenty-five to over one hundred children in KLASS. | |

LCHE WEBSITE - The LCHE website is designed to enrich the LCHE experience by keeping our members, and prospective members, up-to-date with all that is going on within LCHE. The LCHE MEMBERS ONLY section of the LCHE Website is password protected for the safety of our LCHE members and their families. | |

SPELLING BEE - For those in grades 4th to 8th, that enjoy spelling, LCHE offers the opportunity to participate in the annual LCHE Spelling Bee. The LCHE Spelling Bee is a registered participant for the Scripps Howard Spelling Bee. Participants are asked to pay $10.00 to participate in the bee. | |

PUBLIC RELATIONS - The LCHE Public Relations Coordinator brings the public into our home school world, by letting the community know what's going on in LCHE. Our community needs to know that there is a home school group in Lenoir County, that is very much active and a part of this community. | |
OUTREACH - The Outreach Committee works with LCHE by getting LCHE involved with helping in areas of our community that are in need, | |
**HIGH SCHOOL SOCIAL - The High School Social Committee is responsible for bringing the LCHE Teens together for social activities. Parents with children age 13 and at least in the ninth grade are encouraged to take on this committee.

DRAMA - The Drama Committee provides great entertainment with plays, skits, and other various theatrical performances once or twice a year. |

DAD'S NIGHT OUT - Dad's Night Out Committee helps to bring the LCHE dads together for fellowship and fun. |
|
SCIENCE FAIR - The Science Fair Committee coordinates the LCHE annual Science Fair among the LCHE children. |
|
FUNDRAISING - The Fundraising Committee organizes various fundraisers to help offset the costs of LCHE Events and KLASS. |
